Tightest string spacing on a 6-string?

Hi,

I have had a Warwick Corvette 6-string, but didn't find the neck width comfortable. I could use a even tighter string spacing. The Warwick had a 16.5mm string spacing, do you guys know of any basses with spacing less than that?

Or am I forced to go custom. Again

Try an Ibanez Soundgear or SR. They are really narrow.

Maybe carvin. I don't know the specs, but they are pretty tight.

My Modulus Quantum 6 is 17mm, and I thought was about as tight as it gets.

16mm or maybe smaller would be great for fingering.

I found that it's annoyingly difficult to find string spacing specs for basses!

I've tried the Ibanez, and I think I've tried the Carvin too.

I asked one custom builder about getting a sixer with a 15mm spacing... the neck dimensions would be something like this: 24. fret width 76mm, at the nut 50mm. String spacing at nut 8mm, at 24. fret 13mm. At the bridge 15mm.

Nice and tight. I'll probably go custom. Again.
