time to intoduce myself

Hello everyone. I go by King. I have been hanging out since March of this year reading and learning and making a few posts. Let me tell you about myself.

I will be 59 the 22 of this month and decided in March to do something I always wanted to do but just never made time. I bought a Peavey 5 string bass and a little Bronco 40 amp and a few instruction books and started learning. It is still kind of a slow go with all the other activities I have going on but I am moving forward.

I have spent most my life in Maintenance and Maintenance/Production management in the food manufacturing industry. I recently started attending ARSOM to become an ordained minister. My heart is in working with combat vets like myself to help them deal with all the stuff we bring home from combat. I also played with the praise team for the 1st time 2 weeks ago just doing some simple triads and an occasional walk up and down the fret board. It was really fulfilling. I am also an avid Biker and ride with the Christian Motorcyclist Association and founded a CMA chapter here in Searcy Arkansas in December of 2010.

Well that’s me in a nut shell. My Gas is to own a Skjold 5 string some day when I am worthy of having one. Later.
