why doesn't tim from ratm have an endorsement? Or does he? Is it because he modifies his guitars too much? I mean he does play fenders almost exclusively

I think thats what he once said in an interview, if not then im still certain thats the reason. Tom Morello once said he covers his pedals for 2 reasons 1) not to get sweat on them 2) not to advertise lol

Lakland are a much more respectable manufacturer then the likes of Fender, and aren't owned by a media giant at least... y'know... like Sony...

I am finding it kinda hard to respect them at the moment though. Soon as they start proving they aren't just gonna play an extended reunion tour by writing some new material, then I'll feel a bit better about it.

He is to the point that he probably doesn't need an "endorsement" or "sponsorship".

All he (or most likely his band manager) has to do is call the company, tell them that he wants this and this, and it is instantly mailed out for free.

Him just playing something on stage once offers excellent promotion for the companies.

I could be wrong, but I'd imagine I'm not too far off.
