Tina Weymouth's blue bass

What is the blue bass Tina Weymouth plays during a few numbers in Stop Making Sense? I first thought it was a Pedulla Buzz but the body shape doesn't seem right and it doesn't look like a Pedulla logo on the headstock. I then was thinking a Spector because the headstock logo looked like that, but the upper horn doesn't seem quite right. What is it, exactly?

BTW, that movie is loads of fun. David Byrne's stage presence is a hilarious testament to the combined powers of neurosis and cocaine.

I believe it was a Vilette Cintron or something like that.

+1, it was a Vilette Citron, the 2 guys split, both are still making instruments in the Woodstock area. Vilette (not sure of the spelling) does jazz hollowbodies, check out the back of Guitar Player for a small picture ad.

Joe Veillette and Harvey Citron. very early boutique guys, I came this close to pulling the trigger way back when, went with Tobias instead. IIRC they were in Woodstock back then, where Mike is now. That's almost as cute a fact as the fact that I got a Gibson strap with my first Tobias... back around 1980

I played a Vilette Citron at a guitar show in Detroit in about 1994...it was simply amazing.

I didn't have anything to compare it to, but I remember it sounded like a bell. I was floored.
