So what is the deal with these tiny amps these days??? I think they look beyond ridiculous. They might sound good but damn. I think people are just lazy. The old dudes I can understand but if its too heavy get roadies (kids) or hit the gym. I always haul my 8x10 and either an svt 2, gk 1001 or gk 800 all in large flight racks. The tone and power can't be beat. And the baby sized cabs look just as dumb. Bass is big, its powerful! I like hauling my gear, keeps me in shape. Just my opinion, just don't get it

I feel the same way about people who use amps that are less than 2000 watts.

What's your excuse?

That looks stupid, but not as stupid as amps that fit in a lunch box. Man people take it so personal. I'm just wondering what the fad is all about? Lighter this, more compact that. The smart cars of bass amps.

my amp is a monitor for myself and bandmates. the pa does the heavy lifting, therefore, on load in, i don't. i can go from car to ready-to-play in about three minutes or less. more time for gyrlz, bierz, and laffs. you go'hed with yer 30 minute load in. i'll take yer date. ;)
