Not necessarily. Given AC's history with Fender and if TS has it refinished to the original white Nitro, somebody out there will see that 1) it's still a collector with all original parts and a re-finished body and 2) it's a player.
He wont see $10k for it, but I bet a restoration refinish would bring the value up $600 or so.
