His reports that the Maybeck show sold out so they've added two sets Friday, Oct. 28, starting at 9 p.m. at Zebulon's. The band includes: Sickafoose (bass & compositions); Myra Melford (piano); Ches Smith (percussion); Ben Wendel (reeds); and John Gove (trombone). He adds: for those interested, I'll also be playing a few highly mentionable shows over the weekend with Darol Anger at the Freight (10/29), a special SF Jazz Festival concert with Don Byron (10/30), and Adam Levy Trio + Etienne de Rocher at the Makeout Room (11/1).
