Tom Weber Bass?

I recently came accross a 5 string bass for sale locally, in a music store in Cincinnati. I was told it was built by Tom Weber (Van Halen's guitar Tech) back in the late 80's. It Mahogany with a Koa top, 2 Bart quad coils, and 35 inch scale. Its got a very "Jackson-esque" headstock. It looks like it was a great bass at one time, but you can tell its been played a bunch. Has anyone heard of a bass that Tom Weber built? Does anyone know of these or have any idea what thye might be worth? I've looked all over the internet and I can't find anything. ANy info would be a big help. Thanks

Yes!! I think. Tom used to work at Buddy Rogers in Fairfield, in the repair shop. He left Buddy's & came to work at the same shop as me. He built a 5 string while we worked together, in our shop. It had Bart's for sure because everything he did had Bart's in it. It was for one of his customers. This would have been probably 1990 or '91. Did you end up buying it? I'd love to see that bass.
