cheap and cheerfull yet able and decent quality, the two options are good, but which is better for useability and sound quality? just want your opinions!

tone port ux2 vs m-audio ozone?

I have an Ozone. It's okay; the two octaves of MIDI keys are really convenient for auditioning samples, mapping samples, or playing in simple parts. The eight assignable knobs, mod wheel, and data slider are also convenient for MIDI automation. The mic preamp sounds fine, not too noisy, etc. You can record through the XLR input and the 1/4" at the same time on separate tracks, which makes it nice for recording a bass both DI and mic'ing the cab.
I wouldn't use the Ozone as an audio interface, though. Being a USB device it's just not fast enough to keep very many tracks going at the same time without artifacts. The ASIO isn't really good either, you'll get a lot of extraneous noises and clicks and pops.
It's also really plasticy feeling. I mean, it's been holding up well for me, but I wouldn't take it anywhere. Though I must say it'd probably be really convenient with a laptop.
