My Tips...

Remember to save all your user settings.

When using SONAR, switch to ASIO setting, in the audio options of Sonar, this allows you to use the Send 3-4 options.

Has anyone found any websites with user preset files? I will be creating one myself, in the coming few days, for you all to enjoy. I encourage anyone else to do the same, new files can be posted here too.

Right, but it's still a challenge (i've not found out how) to switch back to the line-in for the analog mixer. I can't seem to get both a usb driver and an analog driver at once. But my workaround is fine for me. I'm gearing up for a weekend of recording using only the UX2 as my interface. Will keep posting.

You know what I would like are shared settings for microphones. Tonight I'm miking up two guitar amps to record in stereo and I'm playing around with settings. I'm using presets as templates and tweaking from there.

I've got an old Fender tube amp with the Rockabilly vocal preamp and I'm taking out the slapback echo.

I'm also micing a new Peavey combo that has a high gain tight sound so I'm using the console preamp for that one. So far I'm struggling a bit but just threw a sm57 on the fender, we'll see how that goes.

Wife and daughter out of town. So I've got one amp in the five year old's room and the other in the bathroom! I'll probably try some vocal in the shower!

Tomorrow, I will have a chance to create some User Files, and I will post them right here, stay tuned....

In the meantime: are there any requests?, will work on Mic settings first, for Voice / Amp , if there is anything you are hoping for...post it here.

My buddies studio has a few awesome Bass files we created a few weeks ago, work for hours on it, will post as soon as he emails them to me.

Anyone have anything to post..?

I just got a ux1 so maybe someone in here can help me.

i set it all up, i have gear box running, all the cables are hooked up and everything and i can't hear anything

i am running it with a mac book and i just dont know what i am going wrong. i think there is something wrong because even when i go to the tuner function, nothing reads.

do i need to have monitors or headphones plugged in to hear anything?
