Tonex One For Bass - Any good captures?

I've been considering a very small pedal board and love what can be done for guitar with the Tonex One and was considering getting one for bass. Does anyone do this and if so, any luck getting good captures for bass rigs like:

  • B-15
  • Aguilar DB750/1 - DB-4x10
  • SVT 8x10

I have one but haven't messed it too much. The stuff I have used it for sounded pretty good. I messed with dist and OD sounds for the most part though. Like the blower box, I was pleasantly surprised with how it modeled it. Really captured the character and feel of it. So I would assume the bass amps are pretty good. Sorry I can't offer more in the way of amp and cab sounds.

I’m not an amp connoisseur, but I find the factory SVT amp & 8x10” model (The Fridge) to be very good. I’ve never played through a real rig for comparison.

There is at least one B15 model for free on ToneNet. Another thing I’m trying is a ToneNet model for the JHS Colour Box, which is a kind of vintage mixer channel in a pedal. I need to work more on figuring out what sounds good to me e.g. I’ve tried some SWR and GK models there, not as convincing but might sit well in a mix

I bought Amalgam Captures of the Vintage Marshall Super Bass. The captures are Pro and were pretty cheap for what you get.They have Clean, Edge, Crunch and Dimed captures. Each one comes with a set EQ. For example I like the Clean-Bright eq setting for this scenario or the Crunch-Fat eq setting for another etc. I've also found some good ones on ToneNet I have downloaded but I have the full size unit. I have the mini Tonex One and the full-sized Tonex Pedal. After fumbling around on ToneNet for a while, I decided to get systematic about auditioning tone models. I focused on a few amps, then selected my favorite clean, driven, and overdriven versions for each amp.

On the full-sized pedal, I've ended up with these tone models:

Bank 0: Ampeg SVT-VR
Clean: Virtual Nightmare (Premium, Tonex Max)
Drive: Lucid Dreams (Premium, Tonex Max)
Overdrive: Virtual Reality (Premium, Tonex Max)

Bank 1: Ampeg SVT-CL
Clean: Capital Sin (Premium, Tonex SE)
Drive: Parallel Bass (Premium, Tonex SE)
Overdrive: Driven to Success (Premium, Tonex SE)

Bank 2: Orange AD200
Clean: Orange AD200B MKIII (Free, user-generated)
Drive: Rusty Fridge (Premium, Tonex Regular)
Overdrive: Eight Pumpkins (Premium, Tonex Regular)

Bank 3: Ampeg B-15
Clean: Just Right (Premium, Tonex Max)
Drive: 15Driven (Premium, Tonex Max)

On the Tonex One, I use it in A/B mode with these tone models:

Clean: Orange AD200B MKIII (Free, user-generated)
Drive: Lucid Dreams (Premium, Tonex Max)

Obviously these are just my preferences for my current playing situation (dad band rock trio), but I think it helps to have a system when auditioning tone models. There are lots of great captures, even for bass, and it can get a bit overwhelming. For the moment, I've selected mostly IK Multimedia captures. In the future I might give another look at the use-generated models.

Most of the time I'm using the driven SVT-VR (Lucid Dreams). That just feels like home right now and sounds great through a PA with subs.
