Too Loud??!!

Mmm... interesting. Would be more scientific if it was done in a double blind and with placebo involved, how that would be turned out... ;)

My problems live, provided it's in a small club with no FOH PA, is that everyone (Both audience and band members alike) ALWAYS comes up to someone on the stage and says (yelling): THE SINGING CAN'T BE HEARD! or THE HARMONICA CAN'T BE HEARD and subsequently asks for THOSE particular acoustic instrument - which can't be turned up any further because of feedback - to be turned up LOUDER.

NEVER EVER HAVE I HEARD ANYONE COME FORTH AND ASK EVERYONE ELSE TO TURN DOWN SO THEY CAN HEAR THE WEAK INSTRUMENTS/VOCAL THAT CAN'T BE TURNED UP AT ALL.

Anyone knows if this is slightly related to the above cautionary tale?
