Too much?

Does anyone think runnin' 1900 watts at 2 ohm into two 600 watt 4 ohm cabinets is too much? Will it overdrive ridiculously quickly?

You must be referring to the Carvin B1500, right? The standard reply you're likely to get here will be: "Too much for what?"

It's not necessarily too much - IF you don't overdo it with the master volume. Keep a sharp ear attuned to your cabs and adjust the volume accordingly - lest ye blow out your speakers...

You never have too much - your band may think otherwise, but a little balance is all you'll need.

Listen to your speakers, if they start to sound distorted or strained, back off the master, the bass control or both.
