I go along with gjbassist perfectly for his top four only, but the order changes. Lately I have grown to respect Paul McCartney a whole lot more than I used to. I tried to master the Beatles song book. He kicks my butt, not that it is a big deal to do that. I would move him to #2 behind John Entwistle, John Paul Jones tied for #3 with Jack, because Jack played that short scale EB like a lead guitar.

I don't think he is a dynamic or flamboyant player. I'm not a Beatles fan anyway which is why my favourite Beatle is whichever one died first.
