Total hardware replacement, help needed

Hello fellow bassists i recently bought a Fender Jazz Bass MIM '00
It plays like a beast, there's a pic as an attachment.
My project is to swap all the hardware with GOLD hardware however i need help;

Tuners: Wilkinson WJBL-200 I found out that these are elephant ear type so they don't match with the original MIM ones and i would love to avoid extra holes even if its a 2 minute job, got any other suggestions? Keep in mind that i'm on a budget

Bridge: Wilkinson, i've heard positive things so far and no extra holes is a big plus.

Control Plate: Apart from fender do you know any good fitting gold ones?

Backplate: I figured anyone will do

String holder(?): tips?

Pickguard: I'd like to hear from you!

I've got the same year Ensenada Jazz bass. I think German Schaller makes direct replacements for the stock tuners, which might be Licensed By Schaller already..which are made overseas. I greased my stock tuners with WD40 and they work just fine. I agree. Don't drill new holes in that neck.

The control plate, pots and caps are the same as the American Standards. I might change the knobs for metal P bass one's. I think the Strat knobs look stylish with the white pickguard, though.

Now the bridge is what I'd like to swap out, maybe. I'd like to find an old Fender 70's bridge for the clank tone I tend to like.

I happen to think the Standard MIM pickups sound better than the U.S. ones. Definitely no change needed there. They were making pickups in the Ensenada factory at the time but I've heard elsewhere they're made by Cort in Korea. Haven't done my homework on that one.

Your bass probably has little dents in the rosewood from rushed labor. I put lemon juice from the grocery store on mine and they all popped up even. That only took a couple nights to do.

Nice bass, Congrats!

Thanks for the response! I looked the schallers up but they cost quite a bit! I already treated the fingerboard with lemon oil but there were no problems , i did it just to keep the wood's oils where they should be. I have a pair of American Vintage Pups on right now and they sound PHAT! So is there a cheaper solution for the gold hardware?
