excellent. sunset as wellI can never get any of my ladies (wife or two daughters) to get on the kayak with me in the canals or marsh around our place at the coast at sunset. Something about alligators feeding at that time?
This is what they miss.View attachment 3512861 View attachment 3512862 View attachment 3512863 View attachment 3512864 View attachment 3512865
I stayed out there well after dark.... just floating and counting stars. But the last pic was about all my phone could do before there wasn't enough light. So many fish were jumping. Maybe a dozen barely missed landing in the kayak. Good stuff.
very clever

Had a buddy of mine fly his drone over my cottage in the spring - here's a shot looking out over the lake; altitude was about 150' AGL. The trees on my property are mostly 60 to 100 ft tall white pines. Lake is about 1/3 of a mile across and about a mile long. Average lake depth is about 50 feet with the deepest spot at about 85 feet out in the middle. Mostly bass and pike with some sunfish. We have a resident pair of loons, a resident beaver, a resident great heron and a whole lot of painted turtles.

All you need now is a resident North Carolinian. I'm available. Just sayin'....
