Sunset Looking down from the top of Topanga Canyon last night.

You can see Catalina island off in the Pacific in one of them. (West by northwest view)

You can see unless ripples of ranges to the east by North East view.

My retirement project. I built this little cabin over the summer on my small acreage in Central Minnesota. My little camper was not cutting it for Minnesota winters. The inside is not done but at least it is now weather proof...I’m tired! Can’t wait to haul the bass up and play on a cold winters evening. Though it will probably be next winter.

Afraid not. County regulations would require 750 sq ft minimum with full frost foundation, full sewer and water. Too mush $$$. So I have a separate outhouse on a tank and have a design for a 12 volt RV style water supply in both the kitchen and dry latrine errr bathroom that I plan on using. The dry latrine (using sawdust) is so my wife doesn’t have to venture outside at night. The outhouse matches the cabin.

Wow, it is really clear today. Normally, on a nice warm November day such as today (79f at my house), the L.A. basin's visibility is not so good but excellent today.
