This is a beautiful time of year in the woods. This old oak is estimated over 400 years old. Got to wonder who has passed by. I have found Native American arrow heads nearby.

This is my rough concept/set/backdrop for a time-lapse of the crystallization of monoammonium phosphate. It's safe and should take 72hrs.
I've got some interesting shots turned into footage of a supersaturated solution of sugar swirling around. Amazon has twice delivered the wrong chemical, so I've been testing out timing intervals and lenses. Super new at this. Borrowed a camera. Fun though!
The milk jug had DI/RO water. I'm not sure that made any difference, but I gotta cover my variables!

Had a lot of c£&@ to deal with recently so took a day off for myself. Decided to find Robert The Bruce’s cave in Rosslyn Glen. If that sounds familiar its probably because of Rosslyn Chapel made famous in the Da Vinci Code. Hardly anyone goes here. In an hour and a half I saw no-one. Found the cave, waterfalls, Celtic carvings and ancient woodland. On the way back I managed to creep up on 3 young deer. I was 10 feet away before they realised and ran off. Magical morning and just what I needed.
