Japanese Maple this afternoon shedding its leaves for the Fall. I planted this thing way back in 1990. It barely came up to my knees. 34 years later, here it is in its own little spot having a grand old time.

Not quite full moon just before sunset yesterday.
A "Severe Clear" day over LA's west facing beaches today. Visibility over 80+ miles.
I hope the dogs can read the sign!
