It is difficult for some people to realize how debilitating a partially torn Achilles tendon can be, especially when it only looks like this:
Oh, it's just a little red. So it's a little sore. Oh poor you. Wear some better socks.
No, that isn't irritated skin. That is under the skin. It feels like someone is stabbing a knife into my heel if I step on it wrong.

Is that injury bass related? Were you performing live on stage and jumped off a bass cab?
Yeah, it happened during a bass solo when I was jumping on a trampoline.
The plan is to have the drummer do a solo so I can put my bass down while I jump on the trampoline.
This is your band "BoomSticks For Life" right? I can see why you'd want to put the bass down before you jump. A lot of work went into that bass.
Yeah we changed band names from hondo4life to boomstick4life because we wanted to fire the singer, but we couldn't just do that. So we just told him the band broke up, which is true, but then somehow a new band formed with the same people, minus the singer, under a new name.
