Haven't played my DB ...or any bass for that matter... In a few months.. Maybe Covid Funk?

Dunno... Regardless... Been wanting to try "Africa" by TOTO on DB for a while...I was very pleasantly surprised at how well it sounded.. The only issue I'm having is the little high part at the end... Can't get that smooth on a DB

Also did "Rosanna " and " Hold the line" just for fun...

TOTO on upright is a blast!

I can see David Hungate’s line on “Africa“ working well on the double bass. It’s basically a Latin bass part. I believe there’s an video of the isolated bass track on YouTube. I always liked that little high part he plays at the end.

The group is Simply 3 out of Phoenix I believe. They do a lot of covers and some originals as well. They have been the featured clinicians/performers for our All City Orchestra Festival twice now. They are amazing players and work great with kids from 4-12 grade.

Their "Bohemian Rhapsody" cover and "Clocks" cover are off the charts amazing.
