Trace Elliot Elf 2x8 Speakon adapter

Hi all,
I recently misplaced my Speakon cable that attaches to the Elf head. I bought a Speakon to 1/4 jack cable thinking that all Speakon adapters would be the same. But alas, it didn't fit. Could anyone on here tell me if there is a specific Speakon adapter that will fit in the speaker cab? I really appreciate all the help. Thank You

I'm pretty sure either an NL2 or NL4 plug will fit the NL4/combo jacks that Peavey used.

The only companies that used the incompatible NL2 jacks (that will not accept NL4 plugs) is GK (they have since changed back to NL4) and MarkBass.

An NL2 will have an identifying mark or text on the ring of the jack.

There are some Chinese-made, counterfit speakON connectors that either don't fit or don't work. These fakes may also cause damage.

The advice is generally: "Use genuine Neutrik speakON.

The green tint of the connectors in this image suggests combo-connectors that will accept NL4, NL2, or 1/4". These are wired for two conductors only 1+ and 1-.

I believe the green combo connectors were discontinued recently and two new black models were introduced to replace them.

If your 1/4" plug does not fit easily into the center hole, do not force it.
