I had a ah50012, I wonder how this stacks up tone wise? Can you get a good drive with it?

If I can't find myself a TE GP12 preamp, I may be interested. Any idea on how much to send to Australia?
Can you tell me - is that EQ Balance control like the compression control on the GP12 ?
I can see there's another EQ control dial, so was curious about this particular model.
Cheers

Stevey1....... Sorry but I'm not real familiar with the TE GP12. So I'm not able to answer your EQ question. The TE GP7sm is a really clean sounding pre.
Send me your shipping info, so I can calculate shipping price..!! Thanx

No problem, I just sent you PM. Also I found a manual online that explained those dials on your preamp. Looks like a great design.
Thanks

Anyone else notice that the preamps have a voltage selector, but the amps don't. I hadn't noticed that before. Wierd? I need 240V. At least I know your GP7 has the voltage switch. :)
