Guys.......I didnt have any problems,tone wise, with this preamp. Now, I used it with In-Ears.. XLR'd out th front of house sound. Always had good comments.!!!

Nothing like your Mesas. It's totally clean, much more bottom on tap. When it's set flat it's your bass coming out of the speakers warts and all. EQ how you like.

If I can't find myself a TE GP12 preamp, I may be interested. Any idea on how much to send to Australia?
Can you tell me - is that EQ Balance control like the compression control on the GP12 ?
I can see there's another EQ control dial, so was curious about this particular model.

No problem, I just sent you PM. Also I found a manual online that explained those dials on your preamp. Looks like a great design.

Anyone else notice that the preamps have a voltage selector, but the amps don't. I hadn't noticed that before. Wierd? I need 240V. At least I know your GP7 has the voltage switch.
