My RAH350SMX went for $1800-1900 new. The 1524 would have gone for around $800 and the 2103 was probably around $400-500. I bet the MSRP for the entire rig was easily over $3k.

Just goes to show how much a deal trace gear is on the used market.

Back in the 80's, Trace was pretty much in a league of their own. It was the top gear of the time and you paid as such.

Their amps were all hand assembled and wired in good old Essex England. That, combined with their reputation for being nearly indestructable, made those prices seem appropriate at the time.
