Straight-up trade, my 5-string set of Rotosound Solo 55 stainless steel pressurewound strings, like pictured below, for your 4-string set. I can do either a .105-gauge set or .100-gauge.

They are brand-new and have never been opened. I ordered a couple of 4-string sets from TalkBass' store, just before it closed. Instead, they accidentally sent me some 5-string sets, so I have one set to trade.

So, long-story-short, I could just use the top four strings, but I want someone in need of a five-string set to get a fair crack at them first.

I have plenty more types of 4-string sets at my disposal, even some sets that have been discontinued by their manufacturer (D'Addario FlexSteels, Dean Markley Gold "Alchemy", etc...), so I'm pretty much covered. However, if you have something interesting, feel free to send me a PM.

Thanks!

Do you have any strings with white or multi colored silk ends?:thumbsup:
To be fair, I haven't opened up every pack of strings. So far, no white silks. I have a couple that have purple silks at the ends; EB Cobalt Flats and Thomastik-Infeld Powerbass. However, of those two, I can only spare the EB Cobalt Flats.

The only ones with multi-colored silks at the ends are the Rotosound Nexus Black Polymer-coated Extra Light .100-.040 strings. Here's how they go;
  • .100 Green
  • .080 Red
  • .060 Yellow
  • .040 Blue
By the way, nice Roy Batty painting for your icon, "...tears in the rain" and all that great stuff! :thumbsup:
