Double Bass Trambone

The other day I was playing double bass at a jam and someone walks in and says, "Hey! A trambone!"
When we finished the tune he came up and said, "Is that a trambone?"
I told him it was a bass, but I like his name better.

I would have said "Yes, but there's an accent aigu on the end so it's pronounced tram-bone-aye"

I live in a place in Bklyn just a neighborhood away from Gerritsen Beach. 90% of the people that live there call it Garrison Beach. I don't know why.
