Traynor YBA-3

Hey! Just posting this as I've been thinking of picking up an old Traynor YBA-3. I'd love to know a little more about them before I buy. Seeing as I can't afford a vintage SVT, I figured I'd go for its Canadian counterpart, as you can pick them up relatively cheap.
Firstly, whats the big difference between one with and without a master volume? I've seen a few of each so my options are open, though it seems like the non-master volume heads are cooler/better sounding. The one I'm most interested in has 3 JJ 12AX7's and 4 Sylvania 6CA7's. From what I've read they can drive an 8x10 fine and can get plenty loud. I think one of these would suit me well, unless someone could point me towards a YBA-3A!

The number of tubes don't tells how much a amp may blow up a 810 cab. The weight of line and output transformer may predict output power way better then tube quantity.

I have a couple of those amps, the ones with the master volume are the latter one's .... the amp when in good working order will put out clean 120 watts into a 4 ohm load. And a little more into an 8 ohm load
It is no SVT's power wise, the YBA-3A, was the amp that would have that kind of power and they are as rare as hen"s teeth, I read that they made around 200 of the YBA-3A
As to the tubes 2-12AX7's are for preamp circuits and the last 12AX7 is the inverter ..... the YBA-3 runs at 540 volts on the plates, so use care in selecting power tubes, also most likely it will need to be recapped
