tremonti or bad horsie 2?

i would get that instead but craigslist has nothing and i dont trust evilbay. i was asking about these because they sound very similar to the power wah boost and the mark tremonti is from what i seen essentially a power wah boost but there is only the bad horsie on youtube used on bass.
So let me get this straight... you don't use punctuation and/or capital letters. You assume all bass players are on a first name basis with Cliff Burton. And you won't buy a Power Wah Boost because you trust Craigslist but not eBay, with Buyer Protection? Charlie Sheen pales in comparison to you! You are the true WINNER!

Neither. Modern Morley's are the little anemic Chihuahua puppy compared to the Tel-Ray, Pit Bull like monster. Get you a Power Wah Boost and call it a day...
You're lucky to get any advice at all with your asking technique. Tel Ray is the way to go, if you absolutely must. But please understand, the whole Cliff Burton thing has been discussed ad nauseum. I know it's futile to tell Metallica fans to do a search, because if one Metallica fan can actually spell Cliff Burton, the rest of them can't so a search isn't going to turn up anything anyhow. And, if it's the Tel Ray Power Wah you want (which should be what you're aiming for) check this:

The Boost isn't going to do you any good so you may as well have the fuzz anyhow. It's a pretty funky fuzz.

Well then thanks. I'm just looking for a wah with his' intensity, not so much his uber overdriven "clean" tone. I quite like a clean tone with a little crunch instead. The wah will most likely be a toy to dick around with at home along with my bass big muff.
you just need 2 distortions, one before and one after the wah pedal.
Yes, this is an old thread, but for the sake of those who surf in via Google like I just did, here's my recommendation.
I put together my pedalboard to accommodate two separate signal paths.
First, I use an ABY box which has a single input and splits into an "A" loop, a "B" loop, or a "Y", and then blend "A" and "B" back together into a single cable to the amp with a resistance mixer.
The "A" signal is continuous, but the "B" is the Wah->OD->Noise Gate loop.
Clicking on the "B" button turns on the Wah->OD->Noise Gate while the "A" loop is still active, preserving my original unaffected signal.
With this setup, I keep my Dunlop Bass Crybaby, OD pedal, and Noise Gate on at all times and just toggle the "Y" with the "B" switch.
This solves the problem that many bass players have—they lose the bottom end when they use the wah. Mine has blistering overdriven wah and the original, unaffected bass signal underneath. It's a dream setup.
