Trigger Pulled - *MINT* Electro-Harmonix POG V1

I'm still breathing into a paper bag. I've always wanted one of these but they either look like they were used as a wheel chock for a HUMVEE in Iraq or are priced like they are made of solid Unobtainium. Well a day ago a MINT AF version that was reasonably priced popped up. I didn't plan on this at all, but I decided that THIS is my 2025 present to me.

To paint a picture, in 2005 I got a big box Deluxe Memory Man that is still on my board and still in MINT condition (my deserted island pedal, btw). I remember distinctly going online to Musician's Friend to check the prices of the DMM and BEHOLD.....this little number was new and all the rage. Facebook was not a thing. YouTube just started and cat videos were the new big thing. You know....mid 2000s.

This one hits me in the nostalgic feels....

....and yes, it comes with a box that is also minty.

Yeah. For me this is about a 20 year "I'll hold out for now and wait for the right time" pedal buy.

I need to email EHX service back and see if they're still willing to take a shot at fixing mine. I bought a POG 2 to replace it, but then broke that too.

Sigh. "I am why we can't have nice things"....

I've heard EHX is great at servicing their gear. They should be, all things considered.
