trouble finding a bass body

That's a little like saying 'I'm looking for a car with adequate room for my family but not more than necessary. I'd also like a steering wheel that feels comfortable to me'.
There are many styles and sizes of humbuckers and there are many ways to install switches.
You have to be very specific as to what you're looking for if you want help.

I'm pretty sure any 5 string bass body (sic) can be used with humbuckers and a slap switch...as long as there's a router and a drill close by.

its a 90's yamaha BBG5a, i added SDbasslines MM5 and a wilkinson P5 and a pick gurad, i popped a SDBasslines 3 band with slap switch EQ in it
(like i said not pictured, but its a push pull on the vol pot) it does everything you would expect with that pickup arrangement
