Troubles with power amp input sensitivity

Hello! I'm having some troubles with my stack (Behringer Mic200 pre, Alto Mac2.2 power amp and one of my 12" cabs). The power amp leds for the input signal only slightly turn on... so it's clear that the output of the preamp/DI is too low.
I thought it was a power amp issue but looking at the owner's manual it looks like all Behringers have the same specs (100mV - 10 and 20kOhm).
Is replacing the preamp my only choice?
I remember the Demeter preamp had a trimmer for output sensitivity... so I guess there are no standard specs in that department. Any idea? Thanx!
