This is 6-7 coats of Tru-Oil on a roasted maple Warmoth neck. I love the color and feel.

Thanks! Most of the color came from the roasting. As you can see, it's more of a honey brown than amber, which I dig.

Warmoth says the roasted necks are so stable they can be used raw, but I wanted a little protection from grime.

By the way, it's a Jazz neck with rosewood board and stainless frets. A great first-time experience with Warmoth, and with Tru-Oil, too, for that matter.

@FerruleCat More Deets! More pics! Fretboard wood? Thinking about a roasted maple neck too, haven't decided on warmoth or usacg yet. Also wondering how the tone is, I know a lot of factors combine for sound, but does it strike you as warmer or brighter?
