Truss rod nut for Yamaha BB 5 string bass???

I have a Yamaha BBG5S 5 string with a stripped truss rod nut. Well, I have removed the stripped nut and I am currently trying to find a replacement one. I called Yamaha customer service in Cali and the dude over the phone claimed that he had no part number for the truss rod nut. He suggested I look on the sites I have already tried (StewMac and All Parts.) Do any of you Yamaha players know of any website that would possibly have truss rod nuts? I can not seem to find any. Thanks in advance.

Did you ever find a nut? I find myself is the same situation. I've simply looked for any old nut at Home Depot but, it has to have the right combination of thread size and nut size to fit the tool as well as be able to fit in the hole at the end of the neck. No luck.
I'm looking for the nut for a BB300 neck that I've defretted.
