Double Bass Trying to find Luthier? Chicago 1975 era

Hi,
I have had my newest bass for about 2 years and have always wondered about its past. On the bass bar a name is written, Mike is easy to make out, the last name is something like TRBOVICH, TIBOVICH, FRBOVICH or FIBOVICH, the last name is written in cursive and obviously isn't really clear. The first name MIKE is really clear. After the name printed clearly is Chicago 1975. I am not sure if Mike was a luthier or a bass player who owned this bass at some point. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Rings a bell. Milan "Mike" Turbovich. Can't remember if the spelling is correct. I gave away all my makers books when I moved to Mexico, but I think he's in the Henley book. Scott Henrie will probably know or ask one of the old timers who play bass in the Chicago area. He was before my time there, but I do remember the name. He was a maker/repairer.

Hello, my grandfather Milan Trbovich was a Luthier Violin, Viola and Cello maker. He died in 2003 here in Venice, Fl.

He worked for Kagen and Gains in Chicago in mid 70s.
