I've been working with Keith @ Tsunami Cables to come up with a Rocket Music branded design for some speaker cables that I want to have here to go with all the amps and cabs I intend to start stocking.

Keith just shared the heatshrink design for my approval, which he got. That will be paired with a cable with a red & black woven sheath called Black Widow. So I hope to have some of these very good, very cool cables here within a few weeks!

There are few things worse than spending a bunch of dough on a head and a cab and then receiving them without a speaker cable. That problem will be solved. Very soon!

By the way - these are fantastic cables certainly worthy of their price, but I do plan to use these to incentivize speaker cabinet sales. You can get 1 free speaker cable of your choice with every speaker cabinet you buy from our website. Simply add both the speaker cabinet and the speaker cable of your choice to the shopping cart, and then enter the discount code FREE-SPEAKER-CABLE-WITH-CAB at checkout. How 'bout them apples?

I'm getting ready to order some Tsunami instrument cables for inventory, and I could use some input from you guys!

@TsunamiCables offers a variety of lengths, colors and connector combinations; in fact, it's so many possible cables that I'm going to have to whittle down the choices to a more manageable set.

The instrument cables come in these lengths:
5', 8', 10', 15', 20', 25', 30', 35'

I'm thinking I'll just stock 10', 15' and 20'. How's that sound?

The connector combinations are:
Straight-Straight
Straight to Angled
Angled-Angled
Straight-Tele Angled

I'm thinking I'll do all of those since they all seem like they'd be useful to somebody.

Then the real kicker is the color choices. I'm tempted to start with just Tsunami Blue and Carbon. That's 2 of the 22 available colors. Might I be missing the boat by not going more broad with color choices?

With just 2 color choices, that would be 2 (colors) x 4 (connectors) x 3 (lengths) = 24 unique cables. At $70-ish per cable street price, that's over $1600 of inventory to have just one of every unique cable. Gulp. Rome wasn't built in a day, so I can always add more color choices down the line.

And, as always, I would be happy to special order any cable under the sun for anyone. All that would take is a deposit and some patience on your part.

Anyway, let me know if you'd like to see me carry something that is not currently in my plan. I'm not married to any of it, I mostly want to carry whatever is likely to sell. So your input would be very helpful.

Thanks!

I've put together my first order of instrument cables from Tsunami Cables. I decided to go with two colors: Carbon and Black Widow. In other words, black and black with red stripes. These should arrive in about a month or so.

I decided to pass on the Angled-Angled connectors as an option, Keith @ Tsunami says those hardly ever get ordered. So I got some of the other three connector combinations in the various lengths shown in these listings:

Exciting!

I've been remiss in mentioning that I have received my big order of Tsunami cables, and they are FABULOUS!

I've got a bunch of photos that I need to process and assign to these two new Tsunami instrument cable listings on my website, and I'll try to knock that out this weekend. You can certainly buy them right now, I just don't have nice photos of the posted yet. Sorry about that! I've got them in two colors (Carbon and Black Widow) and a variety of lengths and connector configurations.

I also still have the custom "Rocket Music" tagged Tsunami speaker cables in Black Widow with either speakon or 1/4" connectors:

And just FYI: Keith @TsunamiCables announced this week that he's no longer accepting orders directly through the end of this year. His family is dealing with some health issues that are keeping him out of the shop more than normal, so he's taking some time off to prioritize that. This is a temporary thing, he'll be back at it in 2026. Here's wishing Keith and his family all the best!
