I'm looking for a tube power amp to go with my svt-IIp preamp.As far as I can tell there is no one who makes one?I've looked at the majority of big name manufactureres to no success,and trying to search on this forum only brings up amps with incorperated poweramps. So any suggestions?I'm look for that tube amp growl.. preferabley 400w or so

tube power amp

AMPEG used to make a SVT-300 all tube power amp- same power amp outta the SVT2. May be able to find 2nd hand. Also Mesa & Marshall make 'em- for guitar mainly- but work fine for bass. I'm sure both make ones up to 200w-or 100w/side. Marshall's using EL34's I think.
There is one in clasified's at the moment I think!
I wish these were available used in Austraila!

Yeah , I'm in new zealand, So we're even worse off than you are, considering most of our distributors are based in australia. We get little high end gear and exorbinant prices. yay...
