I'm not sure if it's a TS clone but my Bearfoot Blueberry has been my go to distortion pedal for a long time. I keep trying others but so far nothing has managed to kick it off my pedalboard. Mostly I use it to add some grit but if needed the Blueberry can get downright nasty.

As noted above, it has a good blend and a low control.
If you're looking for a bass friendly tube screamer, why not use a pukka tube screamer designed for bass?
As an aside, I also totally love my dod bass overdrive. another option to consider may be the hardwire tube overdrive. Based I believe on the turbo screamer, but has a low end which means you don't lose any low frequencies.

Xotic Bass BB Preamp is the best. Years go by and it still makes it for me. Also, the Cusack Screamer Bass is awesome, specially in the LED mode.
If there's room on your board, you can get something like the Damnation Dirt Fixer or Broughton FFXL. Plug in whatever drive/fuzz/dirt (or anything that is a bit shy on low end fundamental), and blend it in with your clean signal, along with some additional filtering to really tailor how things blend/mesh. Then you can use any Tube Screamer you like.
+1 to the Xotic BB preamp. That thing has a great distortion tone, and an absolutely gorgeous EQ section 
I have the Broughton version of the Blueberry Bass Overdrive and, even if it's a different circuit, I consider it to fit the role of the Tubescreamer on bass. The very noticeable mid bump and slight compression remind me sooo much about what the TS does on a quitar.

If we ignore size, how do you all like the Becos vs Ibanez Bass Tube Screamer vs Green Rhino?
The Becos seems really well thought out (and I like the small size), but I'm wondering about how they all sound and feel in the mix. I don't want to lose lows, and I want it to be articulate in the band mix without killing the rest of the band.

It's still one of my favourites, with the Nobels ODR Bass that I should never have sold, and the good old Bad Monkey that I got long time ago before they hyped up in the most unexpected way.
Xotic BB for the win. Been using mine for going on 20 years now--incredibly flexible. Can go from clean to fuzzed out and everything in between. I often use it as an "always on" pedal when I want a teeny subtle bit of amp-ish dirt. Very pleased to see they've got a new version out after being discontinued---the demand was certainly there. Used by lots of top session cats.
I use the BB Preamp (mid gain) to push a Grizzly Bass (low gain) and that sound makes me just happy. Such a great combination. With every new year, newer pedals has come home, but the BB always makes its way back to the board over and over again. EQ, booster, buffer, OD, distortion, even compression. And it excels at everything. I refall in love from time to time with that one.
Since this has popped up IMHO the Warm Audio Tube Squealer is excellent with options galore including the always useful wet dry mix control for us bass pluckers, pickers and thumpers. FWIW I don't really care for TS type pedals but this one might make the menagerie.
