can anyone tell me if hipshot ultralite tuners are any better than warwick tuners? are they lighter, do they hold better? thanks in advance for your help

your not going to gain any noticable diffrence by switching between the two IMO. Warwick tuners are pretty solid as-is.
I'd be interested in this too as I've been considering a set to reduce a neck heavy issue in my Thumb. But around £100 is a lot of money for something that likely might not solve the problem.
I have just bought a new strap, a slighly padded swuede lined jobby that offers more grip to my clothing. After a quick play last night it seems to help a bit, but a longer practice will prove whether it does or not. Previously I had one of those 'Comfort Strapps', with the strechy foam shoulder protection. Whilst it proved comfortable on the shoulder, it was a bit slippy and ended up causing aches and pains elsewhere trying to support the neck with my fretting hand.
