Try using harmonics to tune the E press your finger down lightly on the seventh fret on the A string and do the same with the fifth Fret on the E string make it so the E string harmonic matches the A string harmonic

  3. +1. Or buy a tuner?

  4. You....are doing something wrong. Use a tuner, and all will become clear.

Could the saddles on the bridge be moved all way out of whack so the intonation is all messed up?
