Hey all. I have a MIM Standard Jazz, that I put a Hipshot Extender Key on a few months ago. It works great and I've realized that I play it much more than my HWY1 P-Bass. So I really want to put one on my P-Bass b/c I really like the extended range and all.
So here is the question deal. The HWY1 is American made, but the tuners appear to be Mexican style tuners to me. In fact, the tuners look identical to the tuners on the Jazz bass. So, I just want to make sure that I'm correct in my assumption before I order one that won't work for my P.
