So if I understand correctly, with that device, I juste have to set it at a certain impedance, plug my amp in, and then the impedance becomes meaningless?
The amp will always see the same 4 ohms impedance whatever the cabs plugged in the device?
At the only condition I use the reload between the amp and the cabs?

Yes indeed! Obviously the impedance needs to be matched between Reload II and your amp, but in terms of the cab impedance, there is nothing to worry about there! Let me know if this helps to clear things up and if you need anything else, I am here to assist!

That's crazy. With this device, impedance is not anymore something we have to care for.

I guess makers may someday implement that in their amps so that we will not have to care about impedance anymore.

Even if that would dramatically increase costs I guess.

Not really, the tube amp is driving a dummy load, and that signal is then being amplified by a separate solid state amplifier.

Thanks for getting back to me. Load boxes (like Reload II) have been around for quite some time now - it is vital your amp always sees a load and this is what Reload II can provide. However – as @agedhorse has rightly noted – the solid state amplifier can drive multiple loads. In terms of changing the tone however, my experience with Reload II is it is super transparent and i notice no change with the tonality outputted with my Amps.
