Tuscany basses

Spam or not, they're not a great deal for those of us in the US. ~$550 before importing it for a brand that means nothing here. As far as I can see judging by this thread, the brand means pretty much nothing anywhere. No better resale value than an SX. A Mexican Fender is about the same price before importing and will have a better resale. A Skyline will probably give you at least as good quality as the Tuscany will and again, better resale value.

At best the Tuscany is a very nice instrument and perhaps in the EU it could be a bargain, but at present it would be hard to sell should you decide to. It would be a long time (if ever) before having a vintage Tuscany will give it some cache.

In summary: meh.
