Tweeter being rattled by woofer?

Not sure what's going on exactly here, but I've got a Traynor SB112 and when I play low notes at any kind of substantial volume, you can hear a little flapping from the tweeter. I leave the tweeter turned off on this thing, so it's nothing that's actually being pushed through the tweeter. Today I took the grill off, and popped the tweeter out, and when it's hanging freely, the rattling/flapping is gone and everything sounds great, even when the tweeter is turned on. I put the tweeter back in the cab and screw it all in and the noise is back. Any suggestions?

I don't know if that's the issue. The problem only happens when it IS airtight.

Maybe it's slightly less than airtight?

Had that problem on a PF115HE. I ended up jamming a bracing strut between the baffle (close to the horn) and the transverse brace at the back of the cab.
Easy for me as the top comes off the cab for access.

In your case you may need to remove the speaker for access.

The Traynor SB112 is never air tight. It's a ported combo.
