Two Bass guitar case

Quite the situation trying to find a double (2) bass case because when searching, cases for double basses come up, get it? Anyway I have been searching for a sided by side road case style case for two basses. bradycases.com had a great one but wondering if there are any other options? Canada would be a great option to avoid import charges. thats guys!

What use is the case going to see? Local gigs, wide-spread touring, airline travel? Big difference between handling the case yourself in and out of a car vs. touring with a van or bus or trailer or tractor trailer vs. checking it as luggage.

That case pic you posted looks good for any of those used, but it'll probably be pretty heavy (read: costly) for airline travel. I'm sure any quality rack/case builder could build a custom version of that case, not sure what builders are in Canada, though.

That Enki case looks cool (similar to vault-style cases made by other manufactures), but I'd curious how the case holds the instruments in place in the event the case is turned upside down, or thrown down a ramp by a baggage handler.

Another option that I've been considering is to put two basses in gig bags or in a double gig bag (I have this Invalid Link Removed) and place that into a hardshell case - something like this SKB case or a custom-sized version of this ATA case.

Here a few Canadian companies, say they do custom cases.

SKB makes a hardshell golf club case that can be found cheaply used (I think I paid around $50 on craigslist for one). easily fits 2 bases in gig bags plus some room for extra gear. I've flown with that case and 2 bases a few times no probs.
