Two pickups, two killswitches

I want to wire a PJ bass so that each pickup has its own killswitch. No tone controls. Please take a look at my wiring scheme.

When both switches are off, the output is grounded. (I read somewhere that this prevents amp buzz, but I don't fully understand that.)

When the tip doesn't get grounded with both pickups OFF, it acts like a radio antenna. This 'antenna' is free to receive any electro-magnetic interference (EMI) from the local area.

The tip doesn't care if a pickup or outside noise is feeding it. The noise gets sent to the amp and you'll hear it as amplified buzz. To prevent that garbage, the tip needs to get grounded when not being used (both pickups off).

Hope that helps.
