I've been looking at Sunn 2000s cabs, and thinking two of those would be a large setup, but those........those just destroy all my preconceptions of large cabs.
I now have a physical NEED for that stack.

Mama Mia....my back hurts just looking at these behemoths !! But Sweet Fancy Moses, would I LOVE to own these "Chiropractor's dream come true" monsters !! They need a "WARNING" sticker, stating "THIS is what happens when you allow Dr. Frankenstein to operate on your Acoustic 408 cabinets !!"

Back in the 70's they had to use lots of drivers to go loud. That was then, this is now. A pair of 3015LF would probably have equal output down low.

obvious solution is to stick 4 X 3015LF's in those cabs then!
probably wont have the internal volume etc etc. but would be hella loud
Aw man . . . the thread title made me think this was going to be about some sexy Genz-Benz cabs.
So make them bigger, problem solved! It's not like yer gonna one-hand deadlift these, or throw them in the back of a Miata as it is.
I'm holding out for the 4x18.
P.S. Does any auto manufacturer make anything bigger than the extended Suburban? Might need a flatbed for cabs this big!

I have a feeling those wouldn't sound that good - my buddy has a 2x15 Acoustic rig from the 70's and it sounds like poop for bass. Literally farts out the low tones. I've tried it with a few different heads too...:scowl:
I'm not sure how you guys are transporting these around. I'm imagining a box sized like a BASS in each dimension - not something i can lift, transport by car, or even get to my house from the shop.
