Hi all! I'm looking to see if any bassists have experience with the UE Reference Remastered or 11 Pro IEMs. I've currently got a set of custom-molded UE Pro 6, which offer phenomenal isolation and sound great when playing in a jam/live setting; however, when doing home tracking, practice, & mixing, I find them a bit muffled and boomy, especially when compared to my Mackie MP-460s (non custom & poor isolation though).

I'm looking to get another custom-fit pair from UE, but I'm torn between the RR and 11 Pro. I don't want boomy or boosted bass, as I want an accurate & clear representation of how I'm playing. This leads me towards the RR, but I can't shake the appeal of the 11 Pro having two bass drivers for more headroom. I'm a little worried about the 11's being boomy though, as they're marketed as being for drummers or "bass-heavy" music.

So I guess:
1. For any RR users: do the RR accurately represent your bass rig's sound, or do you find them lacking low end?

2. For any 11 Pro users: Does the bass-focused tuning & additional bass driver in the 11 Pro come at the expense of clarity, and being able to hear nuances and articulation in your sound?
