Ultimate feedback effect / Pickup Stethoscope

I found myself winding pickup coils for science and here are a few things I also tried.

stethoscope instructions

1. Tape a giant magnet to your chest, preferably get the tape on the sensitive bit.
2. Hold a pickup up to it.
3. Send that signal straight to your amplifier.

And for the ultimate feedback loop, tape a smaller magnet to the cone of your speaker and place a pickup near it. Wire that pick up somewhere in line with your bass.
Brace for impact - it helps if your speakers can handle some excursion, this is autocatalytic and will run itself out of control until it blows your amp or speakers if conditions are right.

And for some general good ol fun just start waving magnets in the air when you have a pick-up coil raw dogged into your amplifier.

Note that a giant subwoofer was used for all this and your results may vary if you're using a traditional cab.

Drugs are bad for you.

Right, but since when have physics, math, or mad science hurt anyone?

Maybe others out there have thought about or innovated effects using secondary coils or pickups outside the body of the instrument?

What about a fine wire coil cast in epoxy or sandwiched between two picks? Think about how that might add a little extra bite to each pick strike if done right.
