Stopped by the music store to look around and accidentally left with this.

The alder back makes it lighter and really gives it some strong mids. That combined with the tonepump really makes this bass sound good. I couldn't leave without it. There is a lesson in here somewhere?

is that a rebop? they are amazing.

i played a tobacco burst recently. plain alder, no fancy top.

and plain DAMN GOOD

if i can get one for around 900. ill grab it.

Or, (like my wife likes) have your daily limit set to only $500.
