The alder back makes it lighter and really gives it some strong mids. That combined with the tonepump really makes this bass sound good. I couldn't leave without it. There is a lesson in here somewhere?

is that a rebop? they are amazing.

i played a tobacco burst recently. plain alder, no fancy top.

and plain DAMN GOOD

if i can get one for around 900. ill grab it.

EuroLX, neck through. Figured maple top, alder back, slice of walnut in between, EMG 40 dc's, tonepump pre. Triple stain w/ high gloss finish.
