Double Bass Unknown Double Bass

Hi guys, I’m looking at this bass here. It’s not labeled or marked. It’s seen it’s better days but still very playable. Any idea of value and age/maker. Or if it’s even worth messing with. Any help is appreciated.

It looks like a 'house of cards' to me. 'Palliative care' in the form of an appointment with the chipper is one possible solution - just be sure to remove the nails first. Or just walk away?

In all seriousness it looks well beyond any kind of economic repair.

YMMV
